Spincasting

Assorted spincast parts with 6" scale

Spincasting uses rubber molds to produce cast resin or metal parts.    This process is cost effective for producing small parts in relatively small quantities.  Surface finish is nearly as nice as lost wax investment casting.

I offer spincasting services to professional model makers.   Spincasting services are limited to scale model parts.

Key Benefits

bulletRelatively low cost tooling (molds)
bulletPolyurethane resin parts are usually bubble free
bulletFlexible rubber molds can accommodate patterns without draft and may accommodate patterns with small undercuts
bulletVarious Teflon/metal/plastic cores and inserts are possible making for greater versatility.
bulletFast turnaround time if workload permits
