HO Arcade & Attica Sandhouse
I am currently working on a laser cut kit for the Arcade & Attica Sandhouse. The kit will feature laser cut parts in addition to a cast base, chimney, and water spout.

The Arcade and Attica R.R is an interesting and very long lived shortline railroad in Western New York State. The "sandhouse" stands (I hope) in Arcade New York near the A&A enginehouse. Although called the "sandhouse", this structure housed a water tank for filling locomotive tenders and a sand sifting/drying area to make sand usable in the locomotives. The exact date the structure was built is unknown but assumed to be prior to 1919. Sadly due to age and neglect this structure has nearly fallen down. The main structure is flanked by two additions. The one to the north housed a speeder and was added at an unknown date. A two car garage from a neighboring house was added to the south end of the building sometime in the 1960s.
