About Freshwater Models
Freshwater Models was established in 2002 to provide products/services related to scale models and small cast/machined parts.
Due to the poor economy and other circumstances Freshwater Models has suspended business until further notice.
Freshwater Models first product was a 1:8 scale model of a 1921 Elto model A (Ruddertwin) in the pictures below. The model features many highly detailed parts, some of which are movable as in the prototype. This model was made possible with the cooperation of Bruce Reinhart who was kind enough to allow me to photograph and measure his "Ruddertwin" and was helpful in answering many questions. This model was built using traditional methods including manual machining and fabricating of the patterns. The models were machined and hand assembled and finished.
Freshwater Models second product was the 1914 Waterman model C14. Bob Skinner of Windsor, Ontario was kind enough to allow me to photograph and measure his Waterman. These were made in very limited numbers. My favorite model outboard !
